Construction Sites FAQs

How many toilets does HSE guidance require for our site headcount?

HSE guidance under the Approved Code of Practice recommends roughly one toilet per 25 workers for mixed-gender sites, adjusted for shift patterns and peak headcount. Send us your average and peak daily headcount and we'll confirm the required unit count for compliance.

Can we set up a trade account with invoicing rather than paying upfront?

Yes. Construction and commercial accounts can move to weekly or monthly invoicing on agreed terms. Email your company details to leads@portabletoiletrentals.co.uk to set up an account ahead of your first delivery.

What happens if our site headcount increases mid-project?

Email us with the new headcount and we'll add units to your existing weekly round, usually within the same next-day delivery window, and adjust your invoice from the next billing cycle.

Do you offer long-term discounts for multi-month site hire?

Yes. Discounts scale with both unit count and hire duration — the longer the confirmed term and the more units on site, the lower the per-unit weekly rate. This is calculated automatically when you submit a quote with your expected project length.
