Portable toilet hire in the UK runs from £25 a week for a basic construction-site portaloo. A luxury multi-cubicle trailer costs up to £895 a weekend. The price depends on three things: unit type, hire length and how far we deliver. The table below shows real, current rates for each unit we stock. How much does portaloo hire cost?
A standard construction-site portaloo costs from £25-£28 per week, depending on hire length. A standard portable toilet for a weekend event costs from £55. Luxury toilet trailers start from £375 per weekend for a 1+1 unit. However, a four-cubicle 3+1 trailer for a large wedding or festival costs £795.
Does the price include delivery?
Yes. Each price on this page includes delivery and collection within our standard coverage area. It also includes one weekly service visit for hires longer than seven days. We add no separate fee at checkout. However, sites outside our standard coverage area may carry a small mileage surcharge. We show it on your quote before you confirm.
Is there a minimum hire period?
Weekend event hire runs Friday to Monday as standard, 3 nights, for a single flat price. Construction and site hire has a 1-week minimum. Rates drop automatically once your hire passes 8 weeks. However, one-off event hires have no minimum beyond the standard weekend package.
Do you charge extra for weekend delivery?
No. Because the weekend rate already covers Friday drop-off and Monday collection, we add no extra charge. That cost sits inside the per-weekend rate. Weekday-only drop-offs for construction sites cost the same as any other weekday.
Why is a luxury toilet trailer so much more expensive than a standard portable toilet?
Luxury trailers run on a fresh-water flush system with plumbed basins, mirrors, interior lighting and climate control. A two-person crew tows and positions them, rather than dropping them with a single-unit lift. A standard portaloo is a self-contained cubicle with a chemical tank. That is because the build cost and labour differ. A 1+1 trailer starts at £375 against £55 for a standard unit.
Do you offer discounts for longer hire periods?
Yes. Standard construction portaloo hire drops from £28 to £25 per week automatically once your hire passes 8 weeks. You do not need to ask, because we apply it to your invoice. Orders of 3 or more units on one site also qualify for a volume rate. We show it when you submit a quote request.
Is a disabled-access unit compulsory for events?
A public event expecting more than 100 guests needs an accessible unit. HSE and most local authority licensing guidance require at least one alongside your standard toilets. We price these separately, because they are a larger cubicle with grab rails and extra floor space. Prices start from £75 for a weekend, or £39 per week on a construction site.
